UKS Welcomes Summer Associate Class of 2022
Marisa Infante
Marisa is a rising 3L at Quinnipiac School of Law, where she is the Vice President of the Student Bar Association and the Executive Managing Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal. This summer Marisa is looking forward to gaining practical legal experience while improving her research and writing skills at UKS.
Kashvi Bhatt
Kashvi is a first-generation student at the University of Connecticut School of Law. She has completed her first year as a Dean’s Scholar. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from UConn, Kashvi worked at a neuroscience-based management consulting firm in New York City where she received a brain-based coaching certification. As a summer associate, Kashvi is excited to gain hands-on experience with a wide range of practice areas and hopes to build meaningful connections with the attorneys at UKS through the mentorship program and social events.
Caitlyn Doerr
Caitlyn is a rising third-year student at Quinnipiac University School of Law. At QUSL, Caitlyn is on the Mock Trial Society Competition Team, and she is the Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Law Review. Before starting law school, Caitlyn studied in Brussels, Belgium as an undergraduate student and then moved to Washington, D.C. for work. Caitlyn returned home to Connecticut to attend law school to be closer to her family living in Fairfield. As a summer associate, Caitlyn is looking forward to getting to know the attorneys and staff at UKS and learning more about what issues they work on. Since this is her first summer in Hartford, Caitlyn is extra-excited about catching up with the UKS team during one of the upcoming Yard Goats games!
Christina Cruz
Christina is a first-generation student at the University of Connecticut School of Law with an interest in litigation. Christina earned a B.A. in Latin American studies and Sociology with a Certificate in Public Policy from Connecticut College. Christina received the Anna Lord Strauss medal, the highest achieving honor at Connecticut College, for her contributions to the campus and greater community. Prior to law school, Christina served as a local Councilwoman and an AmeriCorps member. Christina is excited to gain real world, hands-on experience in both the transactional and litigation departments at UKS and working closely with the many talented attorneys.
Justin Court
Justin is rising 3L at Quinnipiac University School of Law. At QUSL, Justin is a member of the Law Review Journal, and Advanced Mediation Clinic. Justin chose the UKS summer program because it provides an opportunity to gain exposure to many diverse areas of the law. Justin is looking forward to working on challenging legal assignments and focusing in on a practice area he wishes to pursue in the future.
