UKS Welcomes New Attorney

Matthew K. Stiles is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Attorney Stiles graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Theology and English and a master’s degree in Secondary Teaching in English and received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for the Hon. James J. Tancredi of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut and for the Hon. Robert E. Beach, Jr., the Hon. Joseph P. Flynn, the Hon. William J. Lavery, and the Hon. Flemming L. Norcott, Jr. of the Connecticut Appellate Court. Attorney Stiles’s primary areas of practice are bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, and appeals. Before receiving his law degree, Attorney Stiles worked as a high school teacher, a high school and college track and field coach, and a human services worker for individuals with autism.
