Thomas A. Gugliotti | Connecticut Bar Association Bankruptcy Conference

On October 3, 2019, UKS Creditor’s Rights Practice Group Chair Thomas A. Gugliotti joined Bankruptcy Judge James Tancredi and Attorney David Shaiken on a panel discussion on “Mediation”.  The panel was part of the Second Annual Connecticut Bar Association Bankruptcy Conference, held this year at the St. Clements Castle in Portland, Connecticut.   The panel discussed the use and value of mediation in the Bankruptcy context.  Attorney Gugliotti focused on what a mediator should do to prepare for a mediation session, with recommendations as to what the parties’ counsel should do in advance of the mediation session to help ensure a successful mediation session.  Attorney Gugliotti serves both as a volunteer mediator in the Hartford Court, as well as a paid mediator in a variety of complex mediation cases coming out of the Bankruptcy Courts in Connecticut.
