Women Building Bridges is comprised of the many dynamic women attorneys at Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. Our mission is to encourage women to become active in their fields of expertise and in the community. Fundamental to this mission is our belief that professional women should build and strengthen relationships among one another. We host innovative events that are both informative and entertaining, and offer an arena for professional women to share their diverse philosophies, experiences and talents. These functions provide a significant opportunity for business women who are interested in expanding their network. It's not all business though, as we've learned that a wonderful way to build professional relationships is to first build personal ones. Our events are unique in both venue and presentation, where women may do anything from playing poker to baking chocolate soufflés. The key is the relationships formed and camaraderie developed during these functions. That is the foundation to growth and success, both ours and yours.
Women Building Bridges hosts several entertaining events for women annually. Some of our recent events include:
The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame 16th Annual Induction Ceremony & Celebration honoring women in healthcare. The event was held at the Hartford Marriott.
“It’s My Party – A Presidential Election Discussion” held in the Old Judiciary Room at our State Capitol. Approximately 40 attendees learned more about the Presidential election. This event was co-hosted by
