Alisha Verdone focuses her practice in the areas of commercial finance, creditors' rights and real estate. She represents commercial banks, finance companies and other debt and equity providers in all facets of commercial financings, including acquisition and construction financings, permanent mortgage financings, mezzanine financings, syndicated loans, participation arrangements, workouts and other restructurings. She has experience representing lenders in the issuance of letters of credit in connection with credit enhancement for multi-family housing revenue bonds and in transactions involving pension funds, real estate separate accounts and real estate investment trusts. These transactions have involved such diverse property types as large office buildings, apartment buildings, industrial/retail properties, hotels and other hospitality properties often in multiple states.

Ms. Verdone also has extensive experience in asset based lending, commercial finance and other forms of secured transactions. These transactions have involved revolving loans, term loans, letters of credit and other credit enhancement to various businesses, including manufacturers, distributors, telecommunication companies, equipment leasing companies, and healthcare industry companies.

Ms. Verdone also represents a wide range of clients involved in real estate including the acquisition, disposition and leasing of industrial, commercial, office and mixed use properties.

Ms. Verdone is a member of the Connecticut and Hartford County Bar Associations' Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Sections, as well as the New York Bar Association. Ms. Verdone is the Immediate Past President of The Real Estate Exchange and is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association and the Connecticut Women's Council.

She received her J.D., from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, currently known as Quinnipiac University School of Law.  Ms. Verdone received her B.A., from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, where she participated in the Junior Year Abroad Program in Rouen, France.
